Our approach to treating veins is designed to have you feeling body-beautiful.
We’re here to address your concerns in the most straightforward way possible, starting with a free consultation. Those troublesome veins may be just the tip of the iceberg, which is why we first need to see if there’s an underlying vascular condition before we can advise on the right treatment plan and how many sessions you may need.
At Vein MD, you’re not just in good hands but in the best of hands: our aim is for your veins to disappear and your confidence to re-appear.
The vascular surgeon will ask about your medical history and undertake a detailed clinical examination to assess your veins. An ultrasound scan may be performed to check for venous insufficiency (when veins aren’t working properly and blood can’t flow back from the legs to the heart). The exact treatment can then be determined and the procedure will be explained in full, together with costs and details of pre- and post-care requirements.
Your initial consultation is free.
At Vein MD, we treat the root cause of your vein problems. (Varicose veins and spider veins on legs may be more than a cosmetic concern: they could be a circulatory issue and signify an underlying health condition such as venous insufficiency. If you have both, you may need to have the varicose veins treated first. Once these have disappeared, we can then treat your spider veins.)
We will determine the best possible treatment to safely and effectively restore healthy blood flow to your legs for the results. At Vein MD, we offer several options for successful treatment including EVLT, VenaSeal™, sclerotherapy and surgical stripping. Sometimes, a combination of treatments may be required.
After treatment, we will recommend a follow-up appointment.
We believe in excellence so that you can feel and look your absolute best. It may be the case that you will need one or several more sessions over the course of weeks or months, depending on the size and number of veins, how they’re distributed, and how well you respond to treatment. You may also need cosmetic treatment with sclerotherapy or laser to take care of any residual veins or spider veins.
We take pride in advising you at every step of the way and are always on hand to answer all your questions.
